Volleyball Media Day (See Story →)

The Tampa Bay Tech Senior Volleyball Media Day was designed to celebrate the graduating athletes with imagery that felt bold, modern, and memorable.

Rather than creating traditional team portraits, we approached this project with a creative media-day mindset. Using professional off-camera lighting, colored LED effects, and atmospheric fog, we transformed an ordinary gymnasium into a dynamic portrait environment that showcased each athlete’s personality and competitive spirit.

The session included individual athlete portraits, senior group photos, class-year groupings, coach portraits, and team images. By combining dramatic lighting techniques with carefully directed posing, we created images that felt more like a collegiate athletic campaign than a typical school photo day.

One of the highlights of this project was giving each senior athlete a personalized portrait experience while still maintaining a cohesive visual style across the entire team. The result was a collection of images that celebrated both the individual achievements of each player and the unity of the program.

The response from players, parents, and coaches was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting that the images were unlike anything the team had received before.
